February 1, 2024

I hope that everyone has had a fantastic start to this new year! I would like to thank everyone for their feedback on our programming day/time chart. We are excited to use this to map out and offer you a wide range of programs the rest of the year. Please be on the lookout in future newsletters, our website calendar, and Facebook for programs! See back page for dates and times of our programs for the month. Some times have changed! Mark your calendars: Friends of the Library Book and Bake Sale is taking place on Friday February 9th and Saturday February 10th during our open hours! Stop in and pick out some sweet treats to eat and some new books! All items are for sale by donation! We now have automatic renewals for collection materials! What does this mean for you? Your items will renew themselves versus having to call the library to take care of it moving forward. The only time items will not renew are those with holds on them or Wi-Fi hotspots. We are so happy to be able to offer this for the convenience of our patrons! I invite everyone to please take a moment and review our new Strategic Plan for the next 3 years that is located on our website, or ask a librarian at the front desk. We are looking forward to changes and new opportunities! Finally, we will be closed on Monday February 19th in observance of Presidents’ Day. We will resume normal operation hours the following day. ~Kate MONROEVILLE Public Library Monthly Newsletter Director's Letter N FEBRUARY 1, 2024 VOL. 26
