Homework Help

Homework Helpers at the Monroeville Public Library

What is Homework Helpers?
Homework Helpers is an after-school program designed to support students in a structured yet relaxed environment. Teen volunteers work alongside kids to provide academic help, while children are also encouraged to support each other.

After arriving from the school bus, students have time to enjoy a snack and unwind. We then move into homework time, where students work on their assigned homework with guidance from teen mentors. After homework, each child reads a book with a partner to help build literacy and connection. The rest of the time is flexible—kids can practice skills, play games, or simply hang out in a safe, supportive space until pickup.

All students must be picked up by 4:00 PM, unless other arrangements have been made in advance with the library. For more information or questions please call the library at 419-465-2035 or email monroevillepl@gmail.com
