Homework Helpers 2026–2027 📚✏️

We are so excited to welcome back both old and new faces for another year of Homework Helpers at the Monroeville Public Library!

Mondays & Wednesdays
3:00–4:00 PM
2026–2027 School Year

Students in grades 1–5 are invited to join us after school for homework assistance, academic enrichment, and the opportunity to learn alongside and help other students.

Students in grades 6–12 are also encouraged to participate as Homework Helpers! Older students can gain hands-on experience working with younger students, strengthen leadership and communication skills, earn service hours, and make a positive difference in their community.

Transportation:
Bus transportation to the library is available from Monroeville Local Schools and St. Joseph School. Students must be picked up promptly at 4:00 PM unless other arrangements have been made in advance.

What to Expect:
Students will have a snack when they arrive, followed by dedicated time for homework help, reading, studying, and other academic enrichment activities.

A Note for Families:
Homework Helpers is designed for students who are ready and willing to participate. Students are expected to arrive prepared to learn, work on their homework, and take part in the program. We want this to be a positive and productive environment for everyone, so students who consistently choose not to participate or complete their work may be excused from the program.

If school is closed, Homework Helpers is cancelled for that day.

Enrollment is required. To enroll your student or learn more, email monroevillepl@gmail.com.

We can't wait for another great school year of learning, helping, and growing together! 📚
